TOP 5 FAVOURITE GLAMBYGILLY LOOKS OF 2018

Gurleen Gill is a freelance makeup artist who has accomplished so much in 2018. Her continuous effort and outstanding video content has allowed her to capture the hearts of many individuals around the world. You may have read our blog approximately a month ago regarding who she is and how well she accommodated to the needs of her clients. Her following was at 19,000 at that time and now she is very close to hitting 30,000 followers. We, at Your New Beginnings, would like to congratulate her on this huge milestone and wish her more successes and happiness in 2019. It is great to see that Gurleen’s page has grown each day with the support of everyone around the world. It is also fascinating to see how women are supporting other women and are using hashtags such as #womensupportwomen #womenappreciation on their Instagram stories. Unity is what she strives for. I agree with what Gurleen stands for as we should definitely encourage and help one another to achieve our set goals. With the support of each other, we can climb great heights and break barriers.

In today’s blog, we have decided to keep it short and sweet. We will be showcasing our top 5 favourite GlamByGilly looks of 2018. Let me tell you, it was very difficult to narrow down our top 5 favourite looks as they were all executed amazingly. They were very creative and we truly appreciate the artistic skills of Gurleen.

1. Drippin’ in that 90s Finesse Look

GlamByGilly started 2018 off very strong with her use of vibrant colours in the “Drippin’ in that 90s Finesse” look. She incorporated the popular Huda Beauty Electric Obsessions Palette and showed us how to execute such bright colours so perfectly. The glitter used on her eyes is by Stila Cosmetics Shimmer and Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in Starlight. We love how she blended the various colours so amazingly.

2. Emerald Green Look

Back in April, Gurleen created this emerald green look that complimented her outfit. We loved the simplicity and the pop of green that matched the suit she was wearing. The Odhna jewellery set is also stunning and works well with the overall look. And can we appreciate Gurleen’s perfect smile?! She is beautiful.

3. Diwali Glam Look

The Diwali Glam Look is another favourite and is definitely some great makeup inspiration that can be used for other festivities and parties. We loved the colours that were used from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Palette and it really complimented the outfit well. The jewelry and outfit was sent by GBCreations_ from Australia.

4. Recreation of Deepika's Wedding Look

Deepika’s wedding got us all obsessed. The pictures of Deepika inspired many makeup artists including Gurleen. Gurleen nailed this version of the look by including neutral/peachy colours and wearing the beautiful jewellery set sent by Ethnic.Emporio.

5. New Years Eve Glam Look

Gurleen ended 2018 with her New Years Eve Glam Look that has inspired many party goers. Her use of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Palette combined with Huda Beauty’s Electric Obsessions Palette assisted her vision of a glamourous and glitzy eye look. We loved the subtle purple colour that was used to bring the look together. We are big fans of the lashes used in this photo. And guess what?! These lashes are from GlamByGilly’s collection! They are being released some time this year and we will keep you updated.
